Here's a joke for ya... Q: Why did the can crusher quit his job? A: Because it was soda pressing. 😂😂 Believe it or not, it took me reading it 3 times to get it. I'm slow. Lol. Say it three times fast: soda pressing... soda pressing... so depressing. Ha! Now, the opposite of depressing... This quarantine has really gotten people on an ultimate low. And with good reason. I have ups and downs depending on the day, depending on when I have my period, depending on whether or not I have to cook, lol. That's right, I love to eat, but I don't like to cook. And no, my husband doesn't cook to save his life. When I'm cramping during that time of the month and he offers to cook...it's gonna be pizza. Guaranteed. Which it's totally fine by me as long as I don't have to do it. Lol. But I have found that a creative outlet has helped me to cope with the lows. Although writing is my main source of creativity, I also enjoy painting and listening to music. Now, music... Finding new songs are therapeutic for me. Did you know that I have a music playlist for each of my books? One of the very first things I do before plotting a story is setting up a playlist... It's like a soundtrack for each book. Songs I listen to while writing the story. It's usually very low in the background (not to distract me from the words I'm trying to write), but just enough to put me in the right mood. Here's the playlist for my new romantic comedy My Best Friend and the Honeymoon Game in case you want to listen and find new songs. On that note, you would be happy to know I finally finished Judy's story. It's all done and ready to be sent to the editor. Book 2 in my Trouble in Love series will be released December 1st, 2020. Follow me on BookBub for a chance to win a free ebook copy this new release before it's even published. What's you creative outlet? Hit reply and let me know :) Back to writing cave, and onto write book 3 in this hilarious series. It's been so much fun spending time with these girls. Until next time. Be well, be kind.
