When wives get together, we usually end up venting about our husbands and list all the negative things we wish they would improve on. But with my anniversary approaching in October, I was thinking about the sweet things... Not just the "good" things, but the sweet things. What's the difference? Well, the sweet things are the little things they do that don't have to--and we don't even expect them to--but they do it because they know it would make us feel better. One sweet thing my husband does every morning is wake me up with a kiss on the cheek to tell me he's leaving. Either for work, or when he goes for a walk really early. He doesn't have to do that, but he knows I don't like staying home alone so he always gives me a heads up. Then he opens the living room blinds to lighten up the apartment before he leaves because he also knows I don't like the dark. Of course, I'm sure there are many more things I can add to the list... remember when I told you about my sleepwalking episodes? If not, click here to read about it. He handles that like a pro! Lol. It just melts my heart. 😍 What's one sweet thing your partner does for you that you appreciate? Writing update: Wow, I got so many replies from last week's email. Thank you! I had a ton of requests for more romantic suspense which got me super mega excited because I LOVE LOVE LOVE writing romantic suspense. Woman on the run and police procedural were at the top. So, you would be happy to know... Those are coming to you a lot sooner than you think. 🥳 In fact, I have a woman on the run book right now on pre-order. You might even remember helping me with the book description... Ron has never met anyone as beautiful yet mysterious as Amy. And though he wants nothing more than to respect her privacy, his career is hanging by a thread, and his only shot at keeping his job is to convince her to accept his offer.
But there's a reason she lives off the grid and has no interest in selling her paintings to the rich and powerful. And there's nothing he could say that will change her mind. Except, now he's stranded on her island and forced to stay longer than intended. While in close proximity, Ron finds himself falling in love with this mysterious woman he still knows nothing about. Until her past comes back to haunt her... Now, with nowhere to run, mysteries unveil and secrets unlock. And the truth... will change everything! 💥 It's starts off slow burning, but then... buckle your seat-belt! It will be released December 1st, 2020. Click here to pre-order. In the meantime, I am also working on finishing this romantic comedy. 😅 Back to my writing cave. 😉 Until next time, Be well, be kind. Jessie Comments are closed.
