Howdy, howdy.
Let me just start by saying that Anomalous Secret is now available in audiobook on your favorite retailer here. Now, as I promised last week, I will document my progress for my NaNoWriMo project so you can hold me accountable 😅 NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month. It's a big deal in the author community because we unite in pushing ourselves to write a whole novel in one month. So, I have set out to write book 2 of the Anomalous series, which... needs a title. And since you were so awesome at helping me pick a name for my main character... how about you help me pick a title? Hit reply and let me know... Which title do you prefer? (1) The Anomalous World (2) The Anomalous Rogues Have you read book one yet? Check it out here. 😊 Now, on to my writing cave. Catch you next week. Be well, be kind. Jessie Howdy, howdy.
Let me just start by letting you know that Discovered by You (book 4 in the Only You series) is now live on Amazon, and kindle unlimited. If you pre-ordered, go check your kindle, it should have arrived today. 😊 If you haven't bought it yet, you can click here to grab your copy. Now... thank you so much for your feedback on last week's question. I checked the poll and the name mostly chosen for Anya's love interest was... Tristan. The name Killian has made into the story as well, except he's now an antagonist's, lol. As for Owen, I love that name so much, I want to make him a main character in another story. Maybe book 3? We'll see. 😊 That being said... Anomalous World will feature the story of Anya Kinslee & Tristan Grant. A reader recently asked me what my writing process is like, so I wanted to share it with you. Every author is different, so this is just me... Before starting a story, I need to have (1) the book cover done so I can get excited about the story, and (2) the book description. Or at least an idea of what the story will be about. Then (3) I need the names of the main characters solidified. It's so much easier to see them as real people when I can see them in my head. Even better if I can find pictures online. 😊 After that's done, (4) I outline the story based on story beats. Once I finally know what story I'll be telling, (5) I'll create a music playlist so I can listen to it while I'm writing. Why am I telling you all this now? Because November is National Novel Writing Month... also known as NaNoWriMo. NaNoWriMo is a big deal in the author world. In a nutshell, we commit to writing a novel in one month. We start writing on the first day of the month and plan to have it finished by the last day. Crazy, right? But very fun because all the authors are doing it together. So, I will document my progress every week so you can hold me accountable 😅 In the meantime, here's for giggles... Do you need a good laugh today?Check out this collection of hilarious reviews of movies taken from Amazon. I dare you not to laugh. 🤣 Back to my writing cave... Until next time. Be well, be kind.
