If you've enjoyed reading my suspenseful, young adult, forbidden romance The Anomalous Secret, you will be happy to know that I have officially begun writing book 2, entitled: The Anomalous World. A lot of things are still up in the air about this sequel. Although the original cast of book one will eventually make an appearance, the sequel will be from Anya's perspective. And her love interest whose name I cannot decide on. That where I need your help... Her name is Anya. But I can't decide on HIS name. Out of the list below, which name do you like best? Owen Killian Tristan And yes, that's him on the right side of the image below 😍 Interesting fact about the image above... that's exactly how I write my books. I keep a picture of what my characters look like next to my manuscript as I'm writing. It keeps me motivated, and helps me to write faster. And if you notice at the bottom right corner of the picture... that's a word count tracker. As I'm writing, it changes color from red to green the closer I get to my word count goal. Pretty neat, huh? Also, if you zoom into that image, you can get a sneak peek of the very first page of the sequel. 😝 Guess what?!Remember that book description you helped me put together a few months ago? The book is finally here... Discovered by You will be live on Amazon (and Kindle Unlimited) next week, November 3rd, 2020. If you love the following tropes...

Until next time. Be well, be kind. Jessie Here's a joke for ya... Q: Why did the can crusher quit his job? A: Because it was soda pressing. 😂😂 Believe it or not, it took me reading it 3 times to get it. I'm slow. Lol. Say it three times fast: soda pressing... soda pressing... so depressing. Ha! Now, the opposite of depressing... This quarantine has really gotten people on an ultimate low. And with good reason. I have ups and downs depending on the day, depending on when I have my period, depending on whether or not I have to cook, lol. That's right, I love to eat, but I don't like to cook. And no, my husband doesn't cook to save his life. When I'm cramping during that time of the month and he offers to cook...it's gonna be pizza. Guaranteed. Which it's totally fine by me as long as I don't have to do it. Lol. But I have found that a creative outlet has helped me to cope with the lows. Although writing is my main source of creativity, I also enjoy painting and listening to music. Now, music... Finding new songs are therapeutic for me. Did you know that I have a music playlist for each of my books? One of the very first things I do before plotting a story is setting up a playlist... It's like a soundtrack for each book. Songs I listen to while writing the story. It's usually very low in the background (not to distract me from the words I'm trying to write), but just enough to put me in the right mood. Here's the playlist for my new romantic comedy My Best Friend and the Honeymoon Game in case you want to listen and find new songs. On that note, you would be happy to know I finally finished Judy's story. It's all done and ready to be sent to the editor. Book 2 in my Trouble in Love series will be released December 1st, 2020. Follow me on BookBub for a chance to win a free ebook copy this new release before it's even published. What's you creative outlet? Hit reply and let me know :) Back to writing cave, and onto write book 3 in this hilarious series. It's been so much fun spending time with these girls. Until next time. Be well, be kind. Jessie |
